Compañeras y compañeros:
Nuestras compañeras y
compañeros adherentes a la Sexta Declaración de la Selva Lacandona y La
Otra Campaña en México están preparándose y organizándose para continuar
la lucha por la libertad de tod@s l@s pres@s tomado@s los días 3 y 4 de
mayo en San Salvador Atenco, Estado de México.
Queremos decirles nuestras
palabras para seguir llamando a la movilización pacífica y para seguir
apoyando a nuestr@s compañer@s. En México se está programando una jornada
de movilizaciones el día 19 de mayo, a las 8 de la mañana. La propuesta es
que a nivel internacional también nos movilicemos ese día en nuestros
respectivos países.
La segunda movilización
nacional se está programando en México para el día 28 de mayo de 2006 a
las 10:30 horas. Y la propuesta es que nos organicemos también ese día en
todo el mundo.
Compañeros y compañeras:
Sabemos y creemos que se
organizarán las movilizaciones pacíficas de mil maneras distintas, con el
fin de expresar lo que sentimos que les hicieron a nuestr@s compañer@s de
Atenco, porque así ya nos han hecho también a nosotro@s y porque así nos
seguirán haciendo si no nos unimos y apoyamos.
Nadie nos detendrá en
nuestras movilizaciones. Porque es justo y es necesario para nuestra
lucha.

LLAMADO
URGENTE A LA MOVILIZACIÓN INTERNAZIONAL
Los pasados 3 y 4 de mayo
fueron salvajemente reprimid@s l@s compañero@s del Frente de Pueblos en
Defensa de la Tierra (FPDT), de San Salvador Atenco y Texcoco, y otros
compañeros y compañeras integrantes de La Otra Campaña. El pretexto para
el desmedido y brutal operativo fue el desalojo de un grupo de compañer@s
floricultores que luchan por vender sus productos en el mercado de
Texcoco.
Se ha comprobado que durante
el inhumano operativo los policías violaron a mujeres y hombres, los
golpearon brutalmente y continuaron con las torturas en las cárceles a las
que fueron arrojados. Asimismo, asesinaron de un balazo a un jovencito de
14 años y otro de 22 años se encuentra en estado de coma, a causa de la
explosión de un proyectil spede-heat cn.
Ante la gravedad de estos
acontecimientos el 3 de mayo el subcomandante Marcos suspendió su
recorrido por el país y anunció su permanencia en la ciudad de México
hasta que queden en libertad tod@s los pres@s. El EZLN se declaró en
Alerta Roja y a partir de ese día este espacio cibernético destinado en
principio a la organización del Intergaláctico, se ofrece también como
espacio de encuentro para las diferentes convocatorias y acciones de
solidaridad que se llevan a cabo en diversos países del mundo.

DE LOS DÍAS 19 Y 28 DE MAYO !
URGENT CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL MOBILIZATIONS
This past May 3rd and 4th,
compañer@s of the People's Front in Defense of the Land (FPDT, for its
acronym in Spanish) in San Salvador Atenco and Texcoco and other
compañeras and compañeros from La Otra Campaña were brutally repressed.
The pretext for brutal and out-of-control assault was the eviction of a
group of flower vendors who have been fighting to sell their products in
the Texcoco market.
It has been proven that in
the course of this inhumane operation the police raped women and men, beat
them brutally, and the torture continued after they were thrown in jail.
In addition, they shot a 14-year-old youth to death and another
22-year-old remains in a coma due to wounds suffered from the explosion of
a tear gas canister.
Given the gravity of these
events, on May 3rd Subcomandante Marcos suspended his tour of the country
for La Otra Campaña and announced that he would stay in Mexico City until
all the political prisoners are set free. The EZLN declared itself on Red
Alert, and since then we have offered this virtual space (which is
principally intended to be a tool for organizing the Intergalactic
Encounter) as a meeting place to coordinate the different events and
solidarity actions that are being carried out in countries all over the
world.

Our compañeras and compañeros
adherents to the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle and La Otra
Campaña in México are preparing and organizing, to continue the struggle
for the freedom of all the political prisoners taken the 3 and 4 of May in
San Salvador Atenco in the State of México.
We want to communicate our
words to continue to call for peaceful protests and for the continual
support of our compañer@s. In Mexico, they are planning for a day of
action and mobilizations the 19 of May at 8 in the morning. The proposal
is that these also take place at an international level and that people
mobilize within their respective countries.
The second national
mobilizations are being planned in Mexico for the 28 of May 2006 at
10:30am. The Proposal is that we organize ourselves also all over the
World.
Compañeros y compañeras:
We know and believe that
mobilizations of all types will be organized, with the goal of expressing
what we all feel they have done with our compañer@s from Atenco, because
they have done that to us as well, and because they will continue to do so
if we do not unite and support each other.
No one can hold back our
mobilizations. For they are just and necessary for our struggle.
